The decision of creating the charity organization was a continuation of the active previous charitable projects and activities of the founders of Ukrainian Mercy Foundation, taking into account the experience of the pedagogical work of the leaders of the fund in the field of social protection of orphans and other socially vulnerable segments of the population of Ukraine.

     Having many years of experience in the field of rehabilitation of privileged categories of Ukrainian children abroad, with the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian invaders into Ukraine, the founders of the Foundation realized that Ukrainian institutions for orphans need more comprehensive and systematic assistance. Therefore, the CF “Ukrainian Mercy Foundation” decided to expand the program of assistance and cooperation with Ukrainian institutions and make it more global.

     Currently Ukrainain Mercy Foundation has changed the direction of support and spends all raised funds and resources on supporting orphans and civilians of Ukraine.

     “We have never advertised our charitable projects as PR for good deeds. We simply started  “quiet” fundraising campaign together with our partners from international charitable foundations. In a short period of time, we managed to raise funds for the recreational programs of more than a thousand children from Ukraine.

     Angelina Zherevchuk, President cherity organization, adds: “It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to unite with our magnanimous and generous partners and friends with whom we can create synergy and a systemic mechanism necessary for real change." 

     Our organization was founded in 2018, but its mission dates back over a decade. We are focused on achieving Ukraine’s victory in the war and on supporting those who are at risk as a result of the hostilities. Since the beginning of its work and up to now, the Foundation has provided humanitarian aid to at least 2,000 people and prepared and delivered more than 560 packages to villages and towns in the de-occupied territories of Kyiv and Chernigiv regions, conducted 45 humanitarian missions to villages, towns and cities with alarge number of IDPs, and provided assistance to more than 17 hospitals (over 14 tons of medicines) in Kiev and Chernigiv regions. 

     We continue to provide everyday necessities to those who need them most, but we have expanded our mission in a few key ways.

Program

"Give the child the dream trip"

     Charitable organization "Ukrainian Mercy Foundation" is appealing for financial assistance in the organization of the humanitarian project "Give the child a dream trip" for the recreation and recovery of children of privileged categories (orphans, children deprived of parental care, children of fallen defenders of Ukraine and children who suffered as a result of russian aggression).

           The goal of this project is to organize a one-week recreation Dreamland Camp for 1,000 children aged 7 to 14 during 2025 in Western Ukraine (Transcarpathian region). The cost of the weekly recreation program for one child is $450. A real fairy tale awaits children in the Carpathians, full of pleasant experiences, unforgettable impressions, inspiration and adventures. This is not just an excursion trip, as we used to imagine it, but a real trip to the land of children's smiles and dreams. The infrastructure of the recreation and health center and the natural and climatic conditions will create an unforgettable vacation for children, as well as provide full-fledged psychological improvement. Vacation will give children the picturesque Carpathians, healing mountain air, rich flora and fauna, and lots of entertainment in the Carpathian Mountains.

          The humanitarian project "Give a child a dream trip" has already been implemented for 1000 (thousand) children of privileged categories from different regions of Ukraine, especially those who needed it the most.

           We are committed to continue serving children caught in this war for as long as they need to recover and rebuild their lives. The countless number of Ukrainian children who have suffered the ultimate tragedy: the loss of a parent, or parents, during the ongoing war. Children are always the most vulnerable in crisis. Despite their young age, they are no strangers to air raids. A few times a day, the children have to hide in shelters from the air raids. However, often the air raids can last more than two hours, which can cause young children to feel anxious and fearful.

          Our recreation programs help children to reduce stress bringing them to our Dreamland camp which is located in a safe area and overcome the psychological impacts of the war.. Interestingly designed programs that consist of a lot of various funny and joyful activities let children get focused on just being children.
